Ideally Surefire would sell the damn KX1A separately, but they don't. Next best thing was the TLS TX-1. Those seem to have been discontinued.

Anyone have websites or product recommendations for such an item? Looking for at least 80 lumens or so.

Thanks.

You can use a KX2C head with an RCR123 (rechargeable) battery.  This does at least 100 lumens.

Love my old E1e
I added a  surefire LED head 2 stage
Has plenty of light to ID BG

Still havent bought the newer head for it. To use on my M4

Truth be told, the single cell weaponlight is more of a novelty than anything else. I already have an E2L w/ a KL4 LED head mounted on my M4 and I'm not one of those people that obsesses over fractions of an ounce.

That said, I definitely see myself adding one of these solutions to my inventory.
