I am considering buying an offset mount like those from Daniel Defense, Vltor and Elzetta. I especially like the Elzetta but would like to see some feedback before purcahsing a mount that is approximately $20 more than the industry standards- Vltor & Daniel Defense. In addition, I 'd like some feedback on offset versus straight light mounts. Are there any drawbacks to offset mounts I need to look at/ All feedback welcome.

i like the vtac mount im using it now. its strong and rigid

you are looking for a mount to hold a flashlight.........it does not need to hold zero it just needs to sit on the rain, not fall off, and hold the flash light
All three of you choices will do fine, if you want to mount a laser thats different but thier isn't much to a light holder. |

The Elzetta, Viking & Vltor mounts are all excellent and tuck in nice & close so they're better for smaller to average size hands. The Daniel Defense are nice too but they do hang out a little further so it'll be better if you don't want to feel cramped.
