What kind of light should I be looking at for a 18" SPR with a free float rail and no front sight post and no vertical grip.

Not looking for a super expensive light but one around 100 dollars is what the budget allows. figure the light is not a primary light but it would be nice to have a weapon light for a rainy day.

thanks

That is probably your best option for $100

Tough to beat a Streamlight TLR-1 C4 LED Tactical Light, can be found for about $90. Bright, Light and good run time.

Excuse my ignorance but what is a M60 other than the Army machine gun

Thanks guys ordered one of the Primary Arms lights, just seemed to good to pass up and I'm looking for a longer throw for the beam of light instead of a room clearing wide light pattern.

However what is the diffuser that is mentioned as this is my only AR15 and the light is removed for other uses or it's used for room clearing drills.

It's basically a slip on, sometimes flip up translucent filter that converts your light from a spot to a flood.

If you're asking what diffuser works with his light ... dunno.
