Any ideas?

I've got a mount, and it fits lights with exactly 1" bodies, no more, no less.

The Gladius, Typhoon, Falcata are 1" bodies, but they don't use a tapeswitch...

I've tried a Surefire G2, but it's too wide. I'm having a hard time finding the specs for the different Surefire light's body diameters...

Does a 6p have a strict 1" diameter body? The G2 supposedly did, but it's larger than 1".

Brand doesn't really matter, just would like to find something...

G2s normally fit 1" light mounts. They are tighter in those mounts than the 6P, which also fits 1" mounts.

Hm... Thanks...

The mount is non-adjustable, and has no tolerance for anything even slightly over 1in. The G2 just barely barely won't fit, so maybe I will try a 6p.

My other suggestion would be to (gasp!) lightly sand the G2 to fit. Won't hurt anything. And if you already have it, it's free.

That's an idea, but I have a KAC mount I can toss the G2 into... I have rifles that need lights, and I have light mounts... Just not enough lights to fill them!

At least lights are cheaper that rifles...

ask the ARFCOM member from brightflashlights @ gmail dot com for a price quote on a Surefire 6P LED.

You'll be happy you did.

The 6P G2 takes a 1.040 mount with I think the G2 6P is very near 1" something like 1.140 or something. Don't quote me on the last, but I know the 6P is smaller.

I have heard good stuff about this guy on several forums.

Another option would be the Fenix TK10 or TK11 with the optional tapeswitch.
Many mounts made for common 1" bodies won't fit the G2's slightly larger body.

Here are the measurements from a few of my lights - should be in the ballpark for the same models.

TK11 - 1.005", 157 gm, 5.6 oz with cigar ring; 155 gm, 5.5 oz without ring
6P - 1.007", 149 gm, 5.3 oz
G2 - 1.025" in center of body, 1.03" closer to head and tailcap, 120 gm, 4.3 oz

Thanks for the suggestions guys!

I ordered a 6p; Let's see if it fits...  If not, I'll look into the Fenix lights...
