depends on what range and what you want to do with it. for aiming, i recommend something of the 5mw green laser variety.

the beamshots have gotten pretty good reviews along w/ the aimshots.  those are about the only two I'd trust on a weapon of .223or 7.62 caliber.  expect to pay anywhere from $200 for the aimshot 5mw to $400 for the greenbeam 2000 (IIRC it is 12 or 20 mw)

I am putting it on a 1919a4 (post sample).

I would like a 20MW minimum.

I would like to use it out to 200 yards from a flexible mount.

You're not going to find anything powerful enough to paint a dot at 200 yards in broad daylight... at least, nothing that will fit on a gun and cost lest that $2K.  The Wickedlasers units can paint the dot, but I doubt they could stand up to the beating of being gun mounted.  The 20mw aimshot is easily visible out to 50+ in daylight, but because you can't see the beam, it's pretty easy to loose the dot; at 200, without being able to see the beam, you'll never find the dot.  Of course, at night it becomes a whole different situation, since even the weak green lasers throw a clearly visible beam out to LOS.

I seen a nice green one in one of the latest shooting catlogues for $200. Wasnt CTD or Sportmans Guide, hmm..if I remember I will let you know. It said it was visible at 100 yards in daylight

Visible to 100 would be fine.

I have the Aimshot 20mw, and "visible to 100 yards" should be taken with a grain of salt. (at least in broad daylight, anyway).
