What is the general opinion as far as quality and efficacy of this laser?

What is the difference between it and the OTAL in regards to its laser capabilities; as far as I can tell the Las/Tac has a larger dot and longer battery life?

Is it water proof?

Can it be used effectively when mounted in an offset mount such as the Viking and placed behind the front sight base, a la OTAL?

Just looking for as much info I can get so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

ETA:  I see that they are waterproof.

Thanks for the reply.  What about a LaRue mount?

What about those YHM 45 degree rails?

Basically, what would be the best possible arrangement you would recommend with price no objection?

Calvin,

I called last week about a laser for the PS90.  How long are the wires on the straight and coiled pressure switches for the Las/Tac?  I can't believe Laser Devices site doesn't say that Thanks!
