It is just $50, and it has 5 IR LEDs.

I think it might give a nice wide beam. Is this something I should want on my rifle, or are there better choices?

I think a good goal would be even beam distribution. Some photos I have seen people post have terrible beam patterns with dark centers, etc.

Can someone point me to the top-3 choices for 1-inch IR illuminators and then I can look them up and decide?
