The latest offering is their new eX2 6v system that has the same look and feel of the Pentagon X2 but at a more affordable price. The biggest bonus is that it comes equipped with the TC4 clicker tailcap and has an included holster -
The eX2 is intended to go after the competitors 'budget' lineup (think G2 & 6P) by offering similar output & runtime but with features that would ordinarily cost more (clickie tailcap). The eX2 does not have the battery isolation design like the X2 & X3 do nor does it have the same gold coated contacts but the performance is still their. If you're looking for a high output light for general use or backup but don't want to go all out then the eX2 might be what you're looking for.
(Don't go overboard about the free holster, it's fine for protecting the light but I wouldn't have much faith in wearing it daily.) The eX2 will only be available in type II black anodizing and MSRP is $55.00.
