Will the Las/Tac laser hold up to the recoil of a shotgun?

What is a good mount for the Las/Tac?

LDI says "Yes".

Th VLTOR mount is the way to go for the Las/ Tac. I've tried several.

See Grant at www.gandrtactical.com

I see three VLTOR mounts.  Is it the classic, E, or G series?

Classic.

Once you get it (IF), you will want to protect the "T" handle that is used too tighten the mount down with a piece of leather, and then really crank it down with the assistance of some pliers. Also use a drop of "Blue" Lok Tite on the threads, and you'll be good to go. (I would give $10.00 for a specially designed wrench that woult fit that "T" handle to have in my Go bag.) I want to have the ability to take it on and off easier than needing pliers.

What we really need, is a 1" Flashlight Mount from LaRue that puts the light/ laser as low to the rail as the VLTOR does. We would then have the ability to really lock the 1" tube into the mount, and have 100% repeatability that La Rue Mounts is famous for.

ARMS and other throw lever mounts I have played with just do not return to 100% POI like LaRue, and in my opinion, this is needed for a laser sight that might be used for a very "Surgically Placed" shot.

YMMV

How long is the straight wire on the Las/Tac?

How is the 1-inch ring mount from LDI?

Would it be better to mount this on the handguards or on the front sight base?
