Is the "cord" long about to where you could mount this on the bottom rail of an AR any quad-rail handguard and then fit the tape-switch into a Tango Down VFG?

Considering buying this, and wanted to make sure it will suit my needs.

You'll have to tuck it in close to the vert. grip for it to work.

Better just to get the rifle/shotgun pressure swtich then?

I didn't realize there was two different kinds until after I posted this thread. The rifle/shotgun one has a "coiled" cord, correct?

Correct on the coil cord, BUT, you're not going to be happy with it either as the pressure pad is huge and will not fit the TD v.grip at all.
