Lumpy posted a huge collection of pictures from Iraq... I thought this one was pretty cool and wanted to post it here. One of the many uses of Surefire's! Look ho dark the rest of the place is and how much light the SF is giving off.

If you select "properties" and copy the link into a browser window, it gives you an error message. It says the hosting company offers 5GB of bandwidth per day..... Sounds like it has been exceeded...

Those poor old PEQ-2/PAQ-4's just never stay together!!! They sure work well when they do stay together though...Rubberband or not!  Vic |

It finally works for me those are some great pictures . Last week I was talking with an officer that I work with who's gaurd unit just got back from Iraq last month , he said his Surefire was great until he needed batteries they are hard to get . He said he ended up boxing his up and carrying a C cell light way before his 18 months were up . You would think the CR123 batteries would have made it into the supply chain by now .

The CR123 batteries are in the supply system and are plentiful over here for the most part. The PRC148 uses them. We haven't had a problem getting them for our flashlights. We've gotten the Kodak brand.

Of course..using a weapon mounted light to illuminate something your buddy is reading is probably not the smartest idea and pretty much trashes one of the big 4 rules in weapon's safety.. just an observation.....
