Picked up one yesterday.  First impressions are it is so bulky, and heavy, that it really screws up the balance of a 6P. It would probubly be better on a 9Volt, much worse on a G2.

What I would like to see is an aftermarket 9V battery tube, made of STEEL, with aggresive knurling. Topped with a KL3 head it would make a pretty effective club. even better than the 4 D maglight.

Thanks for the heads up.  I was contemplating putting a KL3 on a Z2.  Does it really make it that lopsided?

I'm looking for a light that can and will be used for an hour or two constantly turned on.  It needs to be small and lightweight enough that I can(and will) keep it on my duty belt at all times.  Will the KL3 be lopsided on a M2/C2?  I do not own, nor have I handled many Surefires and I want to get it right the first time.

Haven't seen the KL4, but the Surefire catalog shows a KL5 on a C2, but no other info.
