hey everyone, i'm thinking of putting a light on my AR, and i was wondering what the choices are for a compact light. you know, something small and light, but still reasonably bright. ive got carbine length handgaurds with just a forward grip on them right now, so if theres a small light that would fit there too, id be in good shape.

thanks for the help.

Surefire Classic series lites, or if you have some money to spend, look into their Millenium series, the M95xx is the smallest. You might be able to find a smaller cheaper light, but you will know where the money went when you compare the quality, modularity and service of each light and the company who produce them.

It really depends on your intend use & Ao.

If your in the military, deployed to a desert or woodland enviroment you need a lot more light than a cop in the city, or a homeowner in his bedroom.

The Streamlight M3 is a really good home defense weapon light.
