Answer: Don't disassemble the lockout tailcap.
Either get the UU0x (x = tape switch length) which inludes the proper millennium style tailcap or you can get just a black tailcap housing and use it if you already have a tape switch. Edited to add: If you'll call SF they should be willing to sell the Millennium tailcap housing alone. |

That clears things up. The dealer catalog shows the tape switches, but the drawings don't show a cap included on the switch. They show what looks like the internals of the switch and the tape leading out. Thanks.

That is the Sxx tape pressure switch assembly.
