I picked up a G2 and was a little surprised by how much wider it is than a mini-mag, I thought I would be able to re-use my old sheath/holster but thats not gonna happen.

So, of the Surefire holsters I would prefer to go with the polymer V70 since I wouldn't have to worry about the tailcap accidently getting hit, and draining the battery.  So 2 questions...

1. Will it fit on a std issue LBV belt?

2. Is the retention system secure enough that it won't "fall out" through normal movement, etc...

Thanks in advance...

V70 has a adjustable bracket in the back as long as your belt can fit through the slot in the rear then it will be wide enough to accommdate any belt size.

Is your LBV belt attach with a fast buckle?? if so, can the fast buckle be taken off the belt so the actually belt can fit through the slot on the V70??  If you can answer all the questions above with a yes, then you are good to go.
