I have a bushie 16" shorty, handguard is very short.  I tried to buy the Fobus rail mount, but it seems to be designed for the std. handguard, and was too long.

Can someone recommend a way to mount a surefire G2z combatlight onto the rifle described above?  I'm not looking to drop a few hundred dollars on a full rail system.

Thanks.

G2Z is a bad choice due to the grip ring and smaller diameter body.  I'd spend the $28.50 and get a G2, keep the G2Z for the handgun use.

Fobus M44 handguard.
