I make a cardboard template of my rifle, tack it in place with toothpicks, and cut the foam with an Olfa knife.
Perfect fit. |

Lay out reversed and trace with sharpie, Use electric filet knife , Flip foam over so you don't see the sharpie marks anymore. Have done several this way and it is super easy. The cuts are very clean.
