I  lust after the new Ruger 10 22 Takedown model, but I need another 22 like I need another wife.

But I really want a padded case like what the Ruger 10 22 Takedown uses. Most of the padded AR cases are 36 inches by 13 and obout 2 or 3 inches thick. I have found one Blackhawk case 32 x13 x2.

What I want is a case the length of my lower with the stock collapsed, with velcro or dividers for both the lower and the upper with scope attached. Plus say 8 magazines.

Any one seen such a case??


I notice AR15 store has one that fills the bill, any reviews and photos of the case with ARs inside?  Padded case is 26x12x4"
