I'm trying to figure out how much of a pain it will be to mount a Harris Bipod on my A2. I'm not sure how I would remove my sling swivel or if it is necessary. Can the bipod be mounted directly to the handguard? Can someone please share a close up photo of their mounted Harris using regular carbine hand guards. Another option would be to link me to a good instillation tutorial.

It can be done.

Not sure about the sling swivel in the FSB, but I believe it can stay.

I think the Harris adapter is number 5 for standard AR handguards.

I don't have a picture of mine installed, but this is what you need:bipod adapter for A2 handguards

No modification to the handguards, no need to remove sling swivel on FSB.
