Will the sling attachment pictured below work in the hole circled in red?
The stock is Magpul, trying to set up my new sling but want quick connect and wasn't sure if this would work or if I needed something different. Any help is appreciated

That setup you shown would work, you could either mount it on the left or right side of the QD sling mount of the CTR.
I have a CTR and I use several brands of heavy duty push button QD sling swivels, Blue Force Gear, Daniel Defense, Gear Sector and Vltor all works fine. |

Thanks for the replies, I wanted something that made it easy to remove the sling
and before I ordered the parts, wanted to double check. Love this site for all the info, saves a lot of trial and error
