I'm a lefty. I see that the CQD plate has only 1 loop on the right side. Should I save my money and get a different plate? Sorry to hijack

I am a lefty as well ( and coincidentally also named Jason
) which is why I produced a
dedicated left handed sling mount:
SPRE-L.
Us lefties need to choose our mounts carefully since most have a tendency to block critical
weapon controls such as the forward assist. This is not a problem with our SPRE mounts. I
designed them to be as low profile as possible. The loop was reduced to 1" to allow a tight
fit with our 1" webbing and the loop was also lowered along the Y axis to clear the forward
assist. Here is a link to some additional photos of our SPRE-L mount illustrating clearance of
the forward assist:
photosAlso realize that there are several options when it comes to using our GS-2P in a dual
purpose role. You can use any standard HK style mount for the primary connection and
simply attach the second HK adapter through the provided hole in the first HK adapter.
This method doesn't require a mount with dual holes. Give me a few and I will dig up a
picture illustrating this technique.
I have also used a single QD swivel mount to accomplish the same goal. Here is a picture showing the second method:
