Can you guys please post some pics of your Vickers slings...I ordered one and put it on last night by attaching the quick release buckle to the fore end using a quick release band (don't have a side sling swivel) and just using the regular buckle to secure it through the buttstock. I would like to see what other options there are for attachments and what they would look like....It took me a while to figure it out since the directions weren't very clear using the option that I chose....THANKS!!!

Is the slider/adjustment buckle used on that sling available from a vendor somewhere, or are they "proprietary" to the Vicker's sling? I've looked at a few different places on the 'net but can't find anything similar.

Right now I'm running a home-built 3 point that I use a cam buckle on, but a slider like that would be a much neater arrangement.

(edited for spelling)

The adjuster is specific to the Vickers sling.

I set mine up with the rear attachment on the other side of the stock.  This way I can go to weakside without anything binding up.

That's a good idea attaching it on the other side... When I transition to left hand shooting the buckle can stick into my shouler.  Doing it your way might eliminate that... I'll have to try it!

Does the "slider" actually lock down, no slipping? Will it retain the weapon close to the body and also lock out to add stability to use as a shooting aid? Thanks.
