My new Mid-length RRA should be arriving soon and I would like to pick up a soft tactical case for it.  The only acceptable cases I've been able to find locally are the Bagmaster Tactical Weapons Case 38 or 42.   How does Bagmaster's case compare to a similar tactical case from Eagle Industries, which I cannot find locally and would have to order?

Eagle Industries' stuff is excellent. I have several items from them including their soft-sided discreet case, and I love all of it. Eagle's stuff is very well made, very durable, and pretty reasonably priced for the quality you receive.

How much are cases in general?

I believe I paid around 100 for mine. If I had it to do over, I would get it in OD instead of black, but I still like the case.

Oddly enough, my VEPR spends more time in the case than my AR does.

John_Wayne777,

I share your view regarding the OD green.  I just don't want another black case.  That's why I really didn't want to get the Bagmaster locally.  It looks like the Eagle RC-4123 case in OD is what I will probably order.  Thanks for the input.

I think you will be happy with it.

The Eagle RC4123  is also available in MJK

All of my cases for my 20 inchers are Eagle, Two of them are OD and Two are MJK

They are the best

re: Eagle industries cases

does anyone use this case that is in law enforcement? Or anyone that takes their rifle in/out of their vehicle on an almost daily basis?

Looking to find out how durable it is.

If you buy an Eagle case and it fails, just send it back to Eagle and they will take care of it for you

Eagle Industries is local to our PD.  We use them, they are abused, and have held up.  We have sent them back (twice I think) to have a seem re-sewn, but that is it.

If you can afford it, it is a safe purchase
