I have a 24" barrel on my AR with a free-float tube, no rail system. The forward sling mount is mounted to the gas block and there is no fitting on the hand guard itself to mount a bi-pod too. Will I have to tap in a sling mount to put on the bi-pod or is there another way. Do any of you know if there is something that "clamps" onto the end of the tube itself, which would accommodate a bi-pod? Thanks for all your help.

Or you could swap your gas block out for a GB that has a rail on the top and the bottom. Then just put you bipod mount on the bottom of the gas block.

he could, but wouldnt that defeat the purpose of a FF tube  best bet is to drill and tap the FF tube; clamp on bipods on the bbl or on the gas block i would not do |
