I have a free-float forend that has a sling stud and no rail.

Does anyone know of a VFG that can attach to a sling stud instead of a rail?

Kind of like how a Harris bi-pod attaches but instead of a bi-pod it would be a VFG.

wouldnt be to sturdy imo.


go to gandrtactical.com and look up the MI products, there are sections of rail offered that you could just mount to your freefloat tube.

Being sturdy is mandatory of course but I can get the Harris bipod cranked down real-sturdy.

There might be a market out there for such a system that will crank down a VFG for those of us who don't have rails or do not want to add rails.
