All of my ARs have had FF forearms with either Magpul or Vltor stocks that I have set up with single point sling set-ups. I personally love single points, however, my better half (latest excuse to build an AR) wants a set up with more rigidity for lack of a better term...in other words she wants the rifle to not "move so much", yet I still want flexibility of movement.

The rifle will be a 16" with M4 HGs and standard M4 6 POS stock. What type of sling woud be reccomended?

Sorry for the delay, I have been out of town.  Stick, I have never used the IDF style so I could not answer you.
