Be aware that the Knights grip has been around for over a decade now.  As such there may be several styles of legit KAC grips with different markings as they changed or modified the molds.

For example, at one of my first military shows (many moons ago) Reed Knight himself took a interest in the KAC grip mounted on my demo rifle. He then told me it was one of their first released versions and was not molded at all. It was machined out of Delrin (a hard machinable plastic). I never noticed before but sure enough the grip had no part lines.
