honestly they are all about the same . YMMV i like the buck personaly, but i wouldn't throw away another brand.

first one looks like a knock off.
second one is made by Lan Cay so that would be my choice. |

Get one of the ones that are issue if you want a good one. If not, there are plenty of cheap ones floating around.
I've got a Lan-Cay that I keep around, while I gave away my Phrobis to a buddy. Both are USGI, and nice quality. You may want to take a look over on m9bayonet.com/ for more information.

Both are Made in China (PRC...) Bayonets, 440C SS, from the Zhejiang Machinery Factory, Zhejiang Province, China......a suncontractor for NORINCO. Don't pay more than $50 for them, I believe Tapco/Quartermaster RustyTX has some good deals....if you want US made ones. IMHO |

RustyTX always seems to have the best deals on bayonets, along with great service and fast shipping. |

LanCay was making M9's for the .gov right before Ontario,IIRC.LanCay is based in Los Angeles I believe.
Ontario is the current contractor for M9's,correct ? |

I got the Saw Blade version one. I paid $35 for it, and it's pretty good. It's held up pretty well for a couple of years, granted I don't really use a bayonet all that much though. |

LanCay is in KY and still makes the M9 and M11EOD - Ontario produces a proprietary bayo for the USMC - not an open mil-spec item AFAIK
