Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Bayonet "adaptor"?

Hey all,

    "Cheaper than Dirt" has got these metal donuts that they are calling bayonet adaptors (manufactured by DPMS) for about $20 and I'm considering picking one up because I'm probably buying a new upper from Stag Arms without a front sight block and integrated bayonet lug.  I wanna install a flip-up front sight.  Has anyone used one of these DPMS adaptors?  Do they mount well?  Or alternately, are there any suggestions for another gas block that comes with a lub but no sights?  Thanks!
