I am thinking about mounting a sling on the rear of the receiver.  I have a collapsible stock.  Do any of you have any problems with the sling getting in the way when using the safety switch or obtaining a firing grip?

It depends on which mount you use....  Some of the cheaper ones have a host of problems, while the upper end units like the Daniel Defense are squared away.  Its worth paying a few extra dollars for a decent one.

Depends on which unit you're looking at.  Some (HK type in particular) stick out more, and have more probs.  The low profile ones like the DD that Stick mentioned are much better.

Thank you for those that responded.  I now have a better idea on how to mount the sling and what I'll need.  Thank you for the help.
