I'm referring to the clamp version that doesn't require
buffer tube removal. Does the screw require Locktite
to stay secure? I've e-mailed MI but haven't received a response.

i bought one and installed it yesterday...i like it alot ...i did not use anything but  i also torqued the crap out of it till the two open parts on the bottom touched...i would recommend it...but like ARin said it has sharp edges...i bought to use with my new ...TAG Ind.  single point sling with HK snap attachment and it fits ok through the holes but the edges with need to ground slightly...good luck...chris
