I tell you what.
I had a CQB sling myself and thought it was the greatest till. I got one of the IDF Israeli slings. I am telling you this is the most comfortable, strongest made and overall coolest sling. It even has a ear protection pouch. You can't go wrong with the CQB Solutions SOP sling. Very comfortable and easy to use. Although I have never used one, I have heard good things of the Israeli slings too.

OK....Thanks guys. Now, a couple of follow-up questions.......
M4 - Was that the standard IDF, or one of the jazzed up models? Also, how would you attach it to an A2 stock? Lumpy - Got a hot link or web address where I might look at the Giles? notack / Strazz - Re: CQB...To ERB, or not to ERB....That is the question. (Also, what is "TRB"? I didn't see a definition.) I appreciate all the input. Jav. |

They have versions to adapt to whatever buttstock and swivel set up you have. I like their heavier webbing. Its THE most durable, and its stiffer, which doesnt allow it to focus the weight of your rifle. |

You can also run the Wilderness as a single point sling...

But many many other units use it(probably cause its a damn good sling) You can either use the clips that come with it, oe the paracors that comes with it. I use the para cord because it makes the sling a whole lot more flexible while fast and heavy movement. |

I've been running the Sling Systems [url]http://www.slingsystem.com/sspromo.html[/url] sling for a few years now. Our SWAT team and our Narc unit purchased them as well. So far we are very happy with them. They come with attachments for the M4 and A2 stocks.

I have the single point Giles that Kevin mentioned on my carbine. One of the best things about it to me is that is completely out of the way of the bolt release, unlike 3 points.

I have to agree with luckystiff. I've been using the sling system on patrol for 4 years and really like it. It's easy to transition to left hand shooting and lefties and righties can use the same sling.

Just Got a CQB Solutions SOP Sling from MSTN and I'll have to say it is superior to ANY 3 point tac sling I've handled/sampled.

go with the CQB solutions sling and you won't be disappointed. It easily allows you to switch to left handed shooting if you need to cut the pie that way!
