Howdy!

I've been shopping around for soft tactical bags for my A2.  I've noticed some different thread ratings for denier cordura fabrics, such as 1000 and 1680.

If I'm not mistaken, the lower number means smaller threads and thus, more threads per unit of length.  Which is more water resistant, a smaller or higher thread count?  Specifically, the 1000 vs the 1680.  Thanks!!!

Actually I think higher deniers have denser weaves.
