Ok Here it is, A single point / dual point convertable. It would attach at the rear of the receiver. Twice for single point use and once in the rear and the other near the front sight post for dual point use. You would simply be able to (with the snap of a clip) go from one to the other. In essence you would have a traditional sling that would convert to a single point instantly and securely. I have the prototype done. I need to shoot some pictures and figure out how to post em. Would there be any interest in a sling like this that would sell for say $25.00?

Do you end up with a big loop of sling between the hooks when they are attached for single point?

Yes the sling in Single point mode goes around a shoulder across the back and comes back by your side. The weapon hangs straight down at this point. One othe advantage of this is the weapon transitions from left to right shoulders with no binding or twisting. I know a picture is worth a 1000 words.

Just put KAC's PB swivels on a wilderness/cqb sol. single pt.  use the fastex buckle, open it, and reattach the KAC swivel at the front swivel pt. "voila"!  I use it.  Single pt. to dbl. pt. 2 seconds.

I did just the opposite.

I have a Knights QD ring at the back of my Vltor stock.  I attach it when I want more stability during movement.  Other than that, its a standard Giles single point sling from The Wilderness mounted on a GG&G adaptor.

Take a look and see what ya think. The sling attachment point is the GRSC and being the cheapest of all the sling plates out there it works the best for this sling. The ability to transition right to left shoulder is better than the wilderness. Since a flat piece of nylon is not running through the plate there is no binding or shortening of the sling.

Yep, I've done the same thing whith an Israeli sling and a single-point I got from me223.
