my just-arrived-in-the-mail KAC single point mount won't mate with my recent production bushmaster lower receiver.  it would appear from a follow-up posting that the hole in the BM lower is "out of spec" by a few thousandths of an inch; in combination with the KAC mount (which is similarly oversize by a few thousandths) assembly is not possible.

I had tthe same exact problem, but used a lil' lube and BFH.  That did it.  When I pulled it off, only the finish was worn.

I hused a needle file to take the finnish off the lug.  Once down to bare alluminum the fit was perfect.
