I've been looking to get grip (vertical) as well.  I'd been pretty set on the ARMS #23 quick detach grip, but lately I've been looking at a watertight vertical grip by GG&G.

There are many others out there, but these are the ones I'm mainly looking at.  There's also the Surefire 900 which would be perfect since I'm looking to get a light for my AR.  But at over $400, that's a good chunk of change.  I may decide to do that route anyway since the cost of a vertical grip, quality Surefire light, and a quality mount probably wouldn't be that far off from a Surefire 900 light anyway.

Abig factors on my choice will be how they feel.  There's a gunshow next weekend, so I'll hopefully get to check out some vertical grips.
