I just bought one of these for my M-1A and am very pleased with it.  It's very similar in design to the Giles sling but is much cheaper.  Retail is $25.

I am currently using an HST (single point) sling from CQB Solutions.

I highly recommend these guys, it's a well made sling.

I have their slings on my AR carbine, A2 rifle, FAL, And two AK's. I love these things. My friend has a Giles on his carbine, the material is not as flexible as the CQB solutions slings.
