Now that MARSH1 has let the cat out of the bag about the new SLx 1x Prism (with the zero point changed to make the reticle bigger), maybe now more details can be divulged!

Hopefully in green

And a large, simple reticle

I do hope the reticle stays the same or similar to the current Cyclops with the horseshoe over chevron and simple ranging.  Similar price point would also rock!

Any plans to introduce more reticles into the GLX 2.5-10? Really eyeing them up but wish you still made it in griffin mil or another non-bdc reticle

@MARSH1

As one of the first with a Cyclops, i will be needing one or more of these...
Very Burris RT3-ish

It kinda LOOKS to be about the same size as a Trijicon MRO. If so, that's pretty amazing for a prismatic that size.  Is the FOV going to be gigantic like the GLx-2x?

A 1x prism with NV settings.  I'm in.

Do you guys have a storefront? I'm probably going to Houston pretty soon and wouldn't mind checking you guys out and the optic. I was truly impressed with my last transaction. I ordered a Romy 75rd drum on a Thu morning and received the next afternoon. Dang! letter mail doesn't move that fast (I don't think)!

This really isn’t my thing, but it looks like an incredible option and given how many people have astigmatism these things will sell like gangbusters.

How does this compare size wise to the Bushnell lil'p prismatic? It will be great to have choices in the small prismatic optic market.

As an astigmatism afflicted shooter and extremely happy GLx2x owner (among other PA optics), I am definitely in for one of these on my main stick. FOV looks like it will be a winner with the large objective lens. Please let us know if and when the preorder for this will be up, my wallet is ready.

If a true 1x, FOV won't even be an issue with both eyes open.

What's the approximate weight and can you see a co-witnessed BUIS front sight in focus?

Don't try to use a front sight through a prism, parallax error will be terrible.
IMO you don't need buis with a prism unless you plan on busting the optic.
One of the big advantages of a prism is being able to use it with dead batteries.

Yeah, but I can hope.  The Platinum is made in Japan and is excellent.

The official release is not until January. My marketing debt is probably already pissed at me for talking about it before then but here are some basics.

-Like our 2X GLx this is our new from the ground up optical system that is not shared with any other 1X optic on the market.

-First release will be the same reticle that is in the current Cyclops with one big change. We altered the zero point so the reticle can be bigger and still have the ACSS features line up.

-It is made in the same OEM factory that we have partnered with for over 10 years to make some of the most popular Prism scopes in the market

-It is in our SLx tier so pricing will be similar to current 1X

-Mini Acog style base.

-ETA for pre order and delivery will not be available until mid Jan

What is the eye relief?

Which reticle?

I do the very best I can to buy America or at least not Chy-na.

I haven't bought a holosun for that reason and it's unfortunate because I really want a 509...

How's about a pick of the reticle?

ETA:  And how does the eye relief work on a 1x prism optic?  Is it fixed or pretty much like a red dot?

People with bad astigmatism need answers!

In my experience it’s like shooting an LPVO at 1x.  With a red dot the dot is at infinity, not so the prism scope.  Of course, with the prism you have the ability to dial in the correction for your eyesight to get a clear reticle.

Awesome! The reticle being useless to the naked eye is what was stopping me from getting one. That BDC should be just the ticket for 300 BO subs

Can you use NV through a 1x prism?  I have to imagine unless this thing's up on a 1.93 and has a ginormous eye box it's essentially useless, just like trying to use a LVPO on 1x with NV settings.
