Serrations are coarser and the windage screw is different, have you asked in the KAC industry forum yet? They would be able to tell you if its legit for sure.

I also see differences in the profile of the windage screw and the clamp screw. It's definitely a light shade of grey. I would just contact KAC.

Yeah I emailed Jack, pending response. Damn I knew something seemed off when I first got it, but I let it slide because it came sealed with the info card and "looked" authentic.

The screws & windage knob gap have me thinking the grey is questionable... Interested on how this turns out.

The black one is from Thoroughbred, but the grey one which I got first, quite a few years ago, thru EE for $75.

Had a buddy bring one by like that.
He wanted me to compare it to one of mine and it didn't compare very well. He asked me well how did I know mine wasn't counterfeit? "I don't know" I told him, "were they making fakes back in 2002?" |
