I ran across a used, good condition Aimpoint Comp M4 in a pawn shop.  There is no box.  It also has a Larue QD mount on it.  They have it at $350 plus tax.  Is this a good price for a Comp M4 these days?  Can anyone give some pointers about spotting a fake?  Thanks!

Buy.  But be careful it could be a stolen military unit.  So if it ever breaks and you send it back you are sol, aimpoint will not give it back.

But that's a good price.

This. It's so cheap I'd be very wary of buying it. Aimpoint has a guide to identifying clones on their webpage I was going to post it here but it's a shit ton so here's the link. Best method is to jot the serial number down and call Aimpoint.

I have one of these ex military Aimpoint, and have called them about it. They don't care if it's stolen. They won't report you or anything.
That said, they won't do any repairs for it.

For that price, I would buy regardless.
