Its on sale, any reason not to?

Does anyone have any input or reviews?

Pics of it on rifle?

I love mine! It's very fast on target. Great lens and eye relief. It's as fast target as a red dot to me. That reticle is just a brilliant design.

It's amazing. Buy it! Get a good Larue or Bobro mount for it and call it a day. Glass is superb, the reticle just flat out works and the illumination is solid. Works great at 25 yards and beyond

Buy with confidence, I upgraded mine to a 3x but both are nice.

It's freaking heavy, but I really like the recticle. Shoots really well at 100 yds.

It's a decent scope great for in close and not terribly heavy.

I was having problems with my Aimpoint PRO red dot due to astigmatism. I ordered the PA 2.5 X prism scope and just love the scope. Nice and clear with very flexible reticle. I liked it so much I bought a second one on sale for $159. So I am selling my Aimpoint PRO to pay for 2 PA prism scopes. Its nice that the prism scope functions even if the battery is dead. The magnification helps with my older eyes. I do not plan on shooting over 100 yards anyway.

The other cool factor for me, my 2.5X is in focus as close as about 7 or 8 feet and even closer it's not real blurry. There also seems to be no "searching" for the sight image. It just pops right there when you shoulder the rifle. 99% of the time I don't even then on the illumination. Just early in morning and late in evening when hunting then on the lowest setting until light is pretty decent.

So which is better the 2.5x or 3x

Tag for interest.  Debating between the 2.5x and the 3, already have a 1-6 so I do like that reticle, but at $159 for the 2.5 that is hard to pass up.

My only "concern" is that they are getting rid of the current 2.5  and will come out with one even better.  Damn you Primary Arms and your awesome products!

I don't see the point, it weighs nearly as much as some of the 1-4x scopes.

Point is compactness. Bright optics due to the prism design. Field of view due to short length. Fast on target, bright glass, Damn fast on target reticle design. Great for precision out to 100+ yards for those of us with eyes that have trouble with red dots plus need a little help for the longer shots.

Or snag one of the GDI E-Com mounts that Tactical Assault Gear was selling for $40. It's what's on my 2.5x. It's a great sight IMO. Especially if you're getting it on sale. I got mine for $159 on Cyber Monday. Great deal. I'll give up 0.5x to save $100.

It is heavy as fuk! Even worse with the GDI mount (I have this combo on my 14.5)....but....the prism ACSS reticle + compact size make up for the weight issue. I'll probably grab two more for my truck guns.
