Hey everyone this is my first post and I'd like to ask a question that's probably been asked a hundred times. Which scope should I get?  

I have a 16" rifle that will be my truck gun, brush gun, and occasional hunting gun. Most shots will be taken from 50-200 yards (some could be closer), on deer, pigs, and coyotes. Some paper punching will occasionally happen. I like the versatility of the 1-6xs being offered, should I go with a 1-6 or 2-7? Not too concerned with weight.  I like the Leupold, Trijicon, and SWFA lines mostly, any other recommendations? No hands on experience with Trijicon, but I like the looks of the triangle reticle. However it could be a little too different from the duplex I'm used to. Any info and help is much appreciated!

if 200 is the max, a 1-4x will do just fine.

Okay, does any one have any experience with Trijicon reticle colors? Which would be best for low light and daylight hunting in fall and winter time (dead grass etc). Winter wheat grass is very green and I do hunting on it quite a bit too.

Sounds like tr24 with triangle post reticle in red or green is what you're after.

Do you have any real life through scope pictures of the triangle reticle.

Pictures through the optic are not going to d it any favors. Unless its a top of the line camera, and your computer monitor with amazing graphics card..even then its not going to be ideal.  You really have to see it in person to "get it".  
Ive looked at the green one here in Florida (where it is always green on green on green) and there is no problems using it.  Seriously, find a floor model.

So green seems to be the most popular? Called all of my local gun shops no one has the triangle model  to look through.
