I noticed that the EoTech EXPS3-2 logo looks different from past EoTechs I've owned. The inspection date was December 2014. I don't know if newer EoTech model logos look different, I guess I'm just paranoid of knockoffs. Thanks to any insight.

It looks legit to me. But mine isn't like that one (March 2014)

I leaning toward legitimate, and that this is just a logo re-design.

I have owned several Aimpoints, EOTech 553, EXPS3-0, EXPS3-2, and EXPS3-4 and have settled on the EXPS3-2. I like it because it gives me a reference for holdovers when used with a magnifier. I also like the way it looks without the magnifier, especially if I leave the irons sights up, the two dots seem to give me a better sight picture. For me the EOTechs just work well, especially in awkward shooting positions. I would place the order of preference as the EXPS3-2, EXPS3-0, and then the EXPS3-4. Let me know if you have any other questions. |

I emailed on Jan 17 and tried calling with no answer, I guess the whole crew went to Shot Show! I did get a response from their FB page, they wanted to see a picture so I sent one last night, no reply yet. I got it from a gun shop in OK, ordered through RSR Group. |
