I can usually see mine at up to 3x. 4x and above and it is no longer visible.

Give it some time, after a few trips to the range you wont even notice it.
If it continues to bother you, you can remove the front sight assembly and replace it with a low profile gas block. This might require a new handguard tho... The former is probably your best option... Chase B. |

Thanks guys. I did notice turning up the magnification it gets better. I bought that mount about five years ago and just got around to putting it on as I want to hunt with the rifle. I guess I should have gotten the high mount instead of the medium when I bought it from armalite. I will see if I can get use to it.
