I had my AR setup with a Weaver 1-3 scope. I think it's a great scope for the money, but I decided to put it on my M&P 15-22 and go back to irons on my AR.

I really like going back to irons. The balance of the rifle is better, and I'm having a lot of fun with the irons, especially shooting off-hand.

Has anyone else preferred to go back to iron sights from optics?

I just did it on my new colt 6920...it is a lot of fun

I did because I had to. My SRS brake and is off for repairs but shooting irons only has been a ton of fun.

I use irons exclusively on my rifle.
Seems like anytime I have enough money to get a scope, I buy another 1,000 rounds instead.

I love shooting with irons!

I have gone back and forth with Irons.

I even bought a carry handle to pair with my FSB, cause fixed irons sights are the strongest.

My last build was irons only, as is my next. Not giving up optics on everything, but I don't need or want them on everything either!

I mostly shoot off-hand, and I like irons for that. I really like how the rifle is lighter and balances better. Plus, I don't have to worry about batteries.

Most fun shooting with irons. The rifle just feels so well balanced.

I shoot groups with irons @ 25 about once or twice a month just to say I can still shoot-in to SOTIC. Other than that, I like to shoot qual with irons before I work my ELCAN...... Practice makes perfect

I took the Micro off of my 15-22. I think it's more fun to shoot with the sights.
