Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Simple, non adjustable backup sights - do they exist?

What I am looking for is a set of what is in effect big pistol sights that can be mounted on a rail (in this case, on a AUG A3).  I don't want them to be adjustable or high-profile, just something for short range to get me through if the T-! red dot fails.  Ghost ring on the back might be ok, but nothing more elaborate or taller than that.

Does such a thing exist?

No, because you have to have SOME adjustment in order to hit the target at rifle ranges.

I like DD fixed sights.

How will you adjust your POA?  

Most modern pistols even have drift-adjustable rear sights.

Drift adjustable rear, replaceable fronts, and low standards make it easy with pistols.
