What distance?

This is still at about 20-25 yards (the longest point to point span inside my house). I'm only hoping to sight it in accurately at between 50-100, so it shouldn't be that much different than where I'm at now. Problem is, I have no more elevation adjustment left moving downward, which scares me since any longer distances would likely be more in that direction.

I wouldn't try to match the Aimpoint reticle to the laser's dot at 20-25 yds, especially out of the LT Tall mount. You'll still have a gap between the two if sighted for 100 yds.

Ok...thanks. I have to wait until after deer season ends here to re-gain use of the land that I shoot on (it's being used by hunters now). I'll hold off on any worries until I get a chance to stretch it out a little. Thanks again!

Try a 50 yard zero. No more than 2.5" low up close (inside 50 yards), 1.5" high at 100, on again at 200 and 8" low at 300. If you have iron sights on your rifle, zero your irons first and then move the dot to the top of your front sight post (while lining up your iron sights - looking through rear peep) and then shoot the dot to confirm/fine tune zero.

I learned that shooting Action Rifle, where we had shots from 10 feet to 200 yards. You need to zero your optic at a particular distance, then learn how high your hold needs to be at short range. |

Zero at 100 meters.
Out of a 16" carbine at ranges out to 200 meters, the hits will be +/- ~2.5" anywhere in between. |
