I'm considering putting a 1-4x scope on my M4gery, but was wondering how obtrusive the front sight is at 1x and 4x. Any pics of such a setup would be appreciated.

I have a 3x  on my 22" Bushmaster. The front sight is somewhat visible, sort of as a 'ghost.' It doesn't obscure the target at all.

About like this:

It does cut down on light transfer in dim light making it harder to see and ID target through the scope.  Hard enough to do with most 1-4x scopes due to small objective lens.

My Leupold 2-7...at 2X it is much less than the above 3X. Up from there FS is non existent on my mid length RRA. My guess is it is gonna depend on the size of exit pupil of the scope and how close the objective is to the FS. Cheaper the scope the more fs will show.  ???

1 power.  Camera actually makes the front sight stand out more than I notice.

4 power,  Can no longer see the front sight.

My Grendel has a fixed FSB up front and it is completely gone from the FOV at 3x with my 3-9x Burris.
