Bought it at local gun shop for $45 . They didnt know where it came from.

It is Cardinal Forge but the exact maker that finished it is not known, however Colt does use CF as a supplier.  Looks just like many of the hundreds in our arms room from Colt M4s that are no longer needed.  None of them are "C" marked either.  Has typical military wear to the knobs.
