Looking for a new optic and it's down to these two. What are the pro's and con's of each and which would you choose.

I just replaced an Eotech EXPS-2-0 Opmod with the PRO. I just prefer the Aimpoint over Eotech.

Cons for Eotech 556
Costs more than PRO
Battery Life is nowhere near what the Aimpoint's is
A lot of people would argue that the Aimpoint is more durable.

Pros for the Eotech
You may prefer the reticule (I do not)
larger window on the Eotech compared to the tube of the Aimpont

Cons for Aimpoint
Some do not like the tube
Some prefer the Circle and Dot of the Eotech

Pros of the Aimpoint
Rugged
Battery life
longer warranty (at least on other models not sure on the PRO)
I prefer the simple dot
Cheaper

Thanks for that. I was hoping for some more input but looks like I will buy the Aimpoint.

Eotech is ALOT heavier,
I compared them side by side and that was all I needed, ordered the pro the same day.

But you NEED to do this for yourself, you may pick up the eotech and say wow I love it, but you may hate it just as I did.
